1. Who We Are

This website, ipsum-lorem.online, is a free online lorem ipsum generator. It is a client-side application — that means all logic runs inside your web browser. There is no backend server that receives, processes or stores the text you generate. The site exists purely to produce placeholder text on demand.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Because the generator operates entirely within your browser, the following categories of information never reach our servers:

• The text you generate or paste into the output area
• Your choice of style, format, count or language setting while using the tool
• Any file you download using the Download button
• Your name, email address or contact details (unless you voluntarily send us an email)

There is no user account system, no signup, no email capture and no payment processing. The website has no database in which such information could be stored.

3. Browser Local Storage

The site uses your browser's localStorage for one optional feature only: remembering your preferred interface language. When you switch from English to Spanish, Hindi, Urdu or French, that choice is stored locally on your device so the interface opens in the same language the next time you visit. This preference never leaves your browser and is not visible to us. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

4. No API, No Upload

There is no lorem ipsum API. There is no upload endpoint. There is no asynchronous request that sends your text anywhere. If you open your browser's Developer Tools and watch the Network tab while using the generator, you will see no outbound requests being triggered by the tool itself. Everything happens locally, instantly, on your own device.

5. Hosting and Server Logs

The static files that make up this website (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) are served by a web hosting provider. Like almost every web server in the world, the hosting provider may keep standard access logs for security and operational purposes. These logs typically include the IP address that made a request, the browser's user agent string, the requested URL and the time of the request. They do not include the text you generated, because that text never leaves your browser. Access logs are managed by the hosting provider, not by this application.

6. Cookies

This website does not set tracking cookies. It does not use advertising cookies. It does not use third-party cookies for cross-site profiling. No cookie banner is shown because there is nothing to consent to. If you use the site through an intermediary — for example, an internet service provider, a corporate proxy or a content delivery network — those intermediaries may have their own cookie practices, and those are outside the scope of this policy.

7. Analytics and Third Parties

This site does not currently include Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or any similar profiling service. The only external resource that is loaded is Google Fonts or a similarly neutral font file — and even that is optional depending on the current version of the site. If analytics or advertising are introduced in the future, this section will be updated before they are enabled, and the change will be clearly described here.

8. Clipboard Access

The Copy button uses your browser's Clipboard API to place the generated text on your clipboard. This action happens only when you click the button. The text that is copied comes directly from the output area you can see on screen, and it is not transmitted anywhere by us.

9. Downloads

The Download button generates a plain .txt file locally using JavaScript and your browser's built-in download mechanism. The file is created on your device by your browser. We have no visibility into what you download, when, or how often.

10. Email Correspondence

If you choose to email us via the address on the contact page, we will receive your email address and the contents of your message. That information is used only to reply to you. It is not added to a mailing list, sold or shared with third parties. If you prefer, you can use a temporary email address when contacting us.

11. Children's Privacy

This website is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under the age of thirteen. Because no account is required and no personal information is collected by the tool itself, there is no separate children's data handling process.

12. Your Rights

Because the tool does not collect or store your generated text, there is no central record to access, correct or delete. The data you generated exists only in your browser's memory and disappears when you close the tab or click Clear. If you have emailed us, you may request deletion of that correspondence at any time.

13. Security

The site is served over HTTPS so that the connection between your browser and the hosting server is encrypted. Because no user data is transmitted through the tool, there is nothing sensitive on our end to protect beyond standard hosting security. You should still follow standard precautions — do not paste confidential information into any online tool, including this one, if you would not want it to appear on your screen.

14. International Users

This site is accessible worldwide. Because no personal data is collected by the tool itself, there is no cross-border transfer of personal data to describe. Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California, Brazil and other jurisdictions with specific privacy laws are covered by the same principle: the tool does not collect personal data, so there is nothing to transfer.

15. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. When it is, the "Last updated" date at the top of the page will change. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy. If a significant change is made — for example, if advertising is introduced — it will be described in a visible banner before it takes effect.

16. Governing Principles

The guiding rule behind this privacy policy is simple: collect nothing you do not need. The generator needs nothing from you to work, so it asks for nothing. No account, no email, no cookie wall.
